Allochiria is a post-sludge band formed in Athens, Greece in 2008.
They have released one EP (2010) and three full-length albums, Omonoia (2014), Throes (Art of Propaganda, 2017). and Commotion (Venerate Industries, 2023).
They have built a strong presence through years of live shows and festival appearances, including several tours across Europe. On their most recent run, they co-headlined seven shows with UK heavyweights DVNE. Over the years, they’ve shared the stage with bands like Botch, Social Distortion, Amenra, Deafheaven, Altar of Plagues, Harakiri for the Sky, Deaf Kids, and others. They’ve also played major festivals like Desertfest Athens, Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Romania, and Rockwave Festival in Athens.
Allochiria’s music explores themes of human nature — how humans function in society, the corruption that shapes modern life, the weight of routine, and the impact of their actions on the world around them.
